- Prepaying Contractors – Exploring new state legislation allowing the city to prepay contractors under certain guidelines for smoother project workflows.
- Strategic Economic Development Plan – We’re renewing our contract with the Greencastle-Putnam County Development Center to align our strategic plan with the Indianapolis region.
- Stormwater Usage Rate – Considering a new $6/month fee to fund stormwater improvements, ensuring long-term infrastructure for a better Greencastle.
- Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA) – A pilot project to allow drinks-to-go in designated areas, with business support to create a lively downtown from Thursday to Sunday. This will open new opportunities for events like Oktoberfest and First Fridays!
