January City Council Meeting

Tonight’s meeting brings a few items of new business but overall pretty straightforward. As always, you can see the full packet below, but here’s what I consider the major items:

The DORA is back on the agenda for it’s second reading. There is a small amendment that is being added because of a downtown vendor that was accidently excluded. It expands the boundary roughly 100 feet further south to include this business as was initially intended.


We will also be discussing the changes made to downtown parking, Franklin Street, and Anderson street due to construction and deciding what to do moving forward. Although, we won’t be voting on it today.

We will vote on our council president and vice president along with our council appointments to boards commissions, and liasons.


Lastly, we will be voting on a end of year bonus for city employees.
