Good afternoon Greencastle! Last week I attended my first tree board meeting. It was the first tree board meeting in a few years and we covered a lot of subjects. We did not make any decisions but we did decide to begin narrowing down the trees or plants we plan on placing downtown after construction. Many ideas were shared including the idea of planter boxes, small shrubs, and nothing at all. Since the meeting I've been suggested the idea of planting flower poles with hanging baskets.
